All American Food...Get In My Belly

What does one do when they return from 7 months abroad? EAT.
Our first day back consisted of Skyline Chili and Buffalo Wild Wings which was a good start. But, remember that really crappy pizza we were eating while we were gone?
Time to remedy that. Hello Larosa’s. We missed you.
OMG this is pizza. Melty yummy cheese, nice and spicy jalapeños, AND ABSOLUTELY NO HOT DOGS, etc. Larosa’s, I love you.
Next!
Get in our bellies Chipotle!
After eating all of this yummy goodness (and this is just the stuff we’ve taken pictures of!), you might be thinking that we’re going to pack those 10 pounds back on. You’re probably right and I might be thickening up as I eat this bowl of chili and type this post. However, one thing we’ve learned in South America has followed us home. Portion control. This was not on purpose, mind you. I totally wish our weight loss would have been out of effort sheer determination. Only out of need to stay on budget did we begin to share almost every meal except breakfast. Now, out of need to stick to budget, we approach heading to Chipotle a little differently. Let’s break it down shall we?
Before
2 burritos with guacamole (guac’s extra you know!)
1 bag of chips with salsa and guacamole
2 Diet Cokes
Total Bill: around $21
After
1 burrito bowl (shared)
2 waters with lemon
Total Bill: around $6
Gee, I wonder why we were fatter then. I most certainly won’t blame Chipotle. They make delicious, nutritious burritos. I love them.
